How the Animates Platform works
Tech is our speciality, so we’ve designed the Animates website to be easy to use and automatically updated. We have also made sure it appears in internet searches via all the major search engines.
This means that when people search for particular animals for adoption in their local area, or animal shelters close to them, Animates will appear in the search engine listings. This encourages more animal-lovers around the country to browse the many animal adverts we have listed.
Once visitors have found a pet they’d like to meet, they can message your shelter directly to arrange an appointment.

With Animates you can tweak your shelter profile as much or as little as you want. Limited on time? That’s okay! Thanks to our technology, your shelter’s Animates page automatically updates with all the rescue animal adverts currently listed on your existing website.
All we need you to do is register on the site and confirm your contact details to make sure any enquiries go to the right person.

We’ve designed our software to copy and paste each shelter’s listings onto the Animates website. We know how stretched for time everyone is, so it was important for us to streamline the process and ensure our software does the heavy lifting. Once the listings are there, our tech constantly checks, maintains, updates and reorganises any changes that might have been made on each website.
It gets directed straight to your Shelter’s designated email account. It will appear as a regular email for you to respond and reply to. You don’t have to login into your Animates shelter account to view it.
No, you keep complete control over your own policies. Each shelter’s individual terms and conditions are stated on the advert, which is taken automatically from the information on your website.
Absolutely! Each shelter is given their own secure login, so you can customise the landing page, listings and donation page.
