The South Cotswolds Branch of the RSPCA is an independently registered charity and has been offering animal welfare services since 1962. The Branch is run by a committee of volunteer trustees; most have full time occupations and willingly give up their spare time to oversee the branch, provide governance and develop sustained recurring revenue.
The Branch operates a twice weekly veterinary clinic in Stroud and has charity shops located in Cirencester, Nailsworth, Tetbury, Wotton-Under-Edge and Stroud. It provides various animal welfare services in the Cirencester, Fairford, Tetbury, Nailsworth, Wotton-under-Edge, Berkeley and Stonehouse areas. Its main focus is the re-homing of unwanted domestic animals, predominantly dogs and cats.
