Wilbur is a sweet wee guy who can be a little shy and worried so is looking for a calm and gentle owner who can help build his confidence. Having previous experience of owning a dog is best as he will need a little bit of time and patience to come out of his shell.
Wilbur is looking to be the only pet in the home so he can be the centre of attention. He would prefer to live a quieter life with few visitors coming to the home and nice peaceful walks. He is 8 years old so is not ready to retire just yet. Having direct access to his own garden will give him somewhere to stretch his legs at his leisure. The garden should be secured with a 5ft fence to keep him safe.
Wilbur can live with children over the age of 14 years old who can give him space if and when he needs it. Having someone around for most of the day would be best although he may be left for an hour or two after settling. He will need to meet his new owners a few times to build a relationship before going home and due to current restrictions we are looking for a home within 30 minutes drive from our centre. To apply to adopt Wilbur please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match. We can only contact the successful applicant.
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continueour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd liketo help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
