Tucker can be very worried when meeting new people and so would benefit from a quiet adult only home. He will need a person who is able to visit the centre multiple times to help build a relationship with him before rehoming. With this underlying anxiety Tucker struggles to share resources and with his age can be a little pessimistic to new things. This includes the car, which we are rebuilding his confidence with. He has mellowed with age and is far easier to introduce to new people and things.
He would really benefit from a calm and quiet home that are able to give him somewhere comfortable to rest his head in the evenings. He loves his walks so someone who still wants to go out walking with their dog would be fantastic for Tucker. Experience in clicker training would be advantageous but this can be taught by your Dogs Trust behaviourist who you will get if you adopt Tucker. If you are calm, patient and compassionate then please get in touch. Tucker has waited some time for his forever home. Could that be you?
Tucker is such a loving and caring gentleman that loves a cuddle with his person. He enjoys quiet walks and can walk with other dogs but simply lacks social skills. He is always happy to see his carers in the centre and once he has built that bond he never forgets you.To apply to rehome me, click on the 'come and meet me' button below.
