All animals, like us, have individual needs and requirements. By matching these needs we optimise the chance of a successful adoption placement. To make it easier for you to see if your home environment is compatible with the animal you have selected we have bullet pointed Simba's specific needs below. Please before beginning the application process for an animal from Southridge double check that the home you can offer meets Simba's needs. We would like very much to be able to respond to every adoption application we receive however at the moment this is just not possible for us to do. Therefore, unless your application matches the required criteria we will not be able to email you back, similarly if we receive your application after the animal you are interested in has been reserved.
Please continue to monitor the animals we have up for adoption because one that is a perfect match for you and your home will hopefully become available soon.
Thank you very much for considering adopting one of our animals. We really appreciate your kindness and support.
* RURAL AREA
* EXPERIENCED ADULT HOME ONLY,MAX 2 PEOPLE
* CATFLAP ESSENTIAL
*MUST HAVE SEPERATE ROOM AVAILABLE FOR HIM SO HE CAN HAVE OWN SPACE WHEN HE WANTS
The gorgeous Simba arrived with us after his owners circumstances changed. Simba is looking for an experienced and understanding home. He has had an unsettling few months and is looking for a home with people who are prepared to set up a very good environment to help him settle.
Simba has shown some unpredictable behaviour in the past, but with a little help we are hoping he will be happy in a kind and loving home. Simba is friendly and does enjoy a fuss with his human companions, however he does not like to be overwhelmed and given too much attention so interactions need to be little and often, usually when he lets you know that he wants your time! He particularly loves climbing up high on his scratch towers, observing the world around him. He will need plenty of toys and enrichment to keep him occupied in his new home and to help with his behaviour. He will need his own room to settle into before giving full access of the home.
He will need access to a private secure garden via a catflap, away from immediate dangers such as railway lines and busy roads. He would be best suited to a rural location with plenty of greenery around him. Simba must go to an adult-only household with no other cats or dogs or any visiting children. If you have room in your heart and home for this lovely big boy then please get in touch with us via email.
