PLEASE NOTE OUR CENTRE IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
**Due to the new lockdown restrictions our rehoming centres are now closed to the public so please do not come to the centre directly. If you are interested in adopting please fill out a perfect match form and email it to the centre at [email protected]
Adopters must live within 90 minutes drive of our centre, anything outside of this unfortunately cannot be considered at this time. We receive lots of emails daily, if you send in an enquiry but do not get a reply it may be that you are unsuccessful at this time.**
Please read changes to our adoption process during Covid-19 https://www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
Scrumpy is a mature lady looking for a loving new home. She came into the RSPCA after being picked up as a injured stray, sadly she had a broken pelvis so has been with us since September 2020 while recuperating. After X-Rays and a tail amputation we have found she's recovered well but will need a quiet home where she is unable to jump onto high surfaces to prevent any further injuries. Scrumpy is on daily pain medication to help her get around and has been coping very well, this will need to be continued in her new home. Due to everything Scrumpy has been through and her continued medication, any applicants will need to speak to our veterinary team for further information and we would also recommend passing all medical notes to your registered vet practice.
While with us, Scrumpy has been a very affectionate girl, but she can nip when wanting more attention. She is a big lover of food and has become a fun character within the cattery. Because of her previous injuries and her quirky ways, she will need to go to an adult only household. Scrumpy would also prefer to be the only cat and not to be rehomed with dogs. Not to be rehomed within 5 miles of Bournemouth BH11
Scrumpy has had some dental work done whilst with us at the RSPCA. Please ask to read our handout on dental care in pets in order to help keep her teeth nice and healthy for the future.
