I am currently looking for my new family. To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match. Due to current government guidelines all applicants must live within 30-minute drive from the Basildon centre so we can facilitate our 'Handover at home' process.
Rob the greyhound is quite simply described by his canine carers as a very nice boy! He has long legs but is a calm and gentle lad. He would benefit from a home with a good sized secure and private garden for some safe off lead time. He loves nothing more than a cosy bed to snooze in after a calm walk around our path walks. Rob can't live with other animals but can live with children over the age of 14, we aren't sure how he will travel in the car yet but we know he loves his treats!
Rob has come to us with no history, it's important to remember he may not know how great life at home is yet! This may come along with some housetraining but he promises to be worth every moment. Rob has mixed with greyhounds here very nicely but does not know how to mix with small/other breeds. He needs to be kept on lead at all times when out in public so he isn't overwhelmed meeting dogs (or chasing any small fast creatures).
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continueour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd liketo help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
