I am currently looking for my new family. To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match. Due to current government guidelines all applicants must live within 30-minute drive from the Basildon centre so we can facilitate our 'Handover at home' process.
Odin is a sweet lad who is a typical vocal husky - he loves a singsong in his kennel and when out on his walks he likes to let everyone know he is around! He walks nicely on the lead although can get a little bouncy when he gets excited. Odin is looking for his new owners to have experience with owning Huskies as he is very true to his breed at times. Odin is a clever boy and is fully housetrained.
8-year-old Odin is a slightly older lad so would like a quieter, calmer home to settle in to and start his retirement years. He can potentially live with calm, sensible teenagers over the age of 14 who are willing to give him his space when he wants it. When out and about on his walks here at the centre, Odin has met a few dogs and has been friendly with them, although he doesn't have the greatest manners so would benefit from more socialising once in his forever home. Odin will need to be the only pet in his new home and would like his own private garden.
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continueour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd liketo help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
