Milo is a bit quirkier than your average dog and is looking for something a bit different in life. He would suit an experienced owner looking for a long term project as he will need to start life in his forever home in an outdoor run or kennel and gradually build up the time he is in the home. He would be best with someone who has experience of similar breeds as he is a strong boy who must be kept on lead in public places.
Milo will need some further training in a few different areas and his new owner should be around for most of the day to be able to commit to this. His kennel or run should be within a secure private garden with 6 ft fence to keep him safe and give him somewhere to practice training. He responds well to positive, reward based training and lots of patience. He knows some basic cues like sit, paw, wait and drop and has the potential to learn so much more. He gets on well with other dogs but is looking to be the only pet in his family to ensure that all focus is on him and his training requirements.
Milo would do best in a home with older kids of 16 years plus. He can be mouthy in play and due to his size he can be a handful when he gets overly excited but he will make a great addition in the right home. He is comical and is bound to make you laugh with some of his silly antics. It will be rewarding work for someone who is up for the challenge. To apply to adopt Milo please click the 'come and meet me' button. Applications will close when we have found a suitable match.
