Meet our gourgous boy Martin. He found him self coming into our care after he was picked up by our Inspectors injured and with no home.
When he arrived he was very unsure of the cattery and in turn upset by it all. Life with us semt very scary to him and it took a while for him to see we weren't bad. We got to work immediatly on building his confidence, showing him humans are here to love and care for him.
Martin takes a while to bond with his carers (often pretending they don't exist) but once hes there he, does begin to enjoy a small amount of fuss. He can also be an independent guy who likes his own space, away from us and isn't afraid to let you know when hes had enough of people with a cheeky slap or grumble. This guy really does have a lot of potential and we feel now with the right home, he is ready to build a forever relationship with his new family.
As Martin is a longhaired chap who requires regular up keep of his coat, we are working with his confidence around grooming, as he still can be unsure of any handling right now. This will need further work once hes settled in a home.
We are looking for a home where this guy can have all the space and attetion - on his terms of course! Martin needs a experiencednervous, adult and only cat household, where his new family will be happy to let Martin adjust in his own time and continue the rehabilitaion work we have started.
Do you have a quiet space for Martin, to call home?
