PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS WITHIN A 1 HOUR DRIVE FROM OUR CENTRE (WR11 7RT). She's a golden girl inside and out, Lacey has certainly captured our hearts. She is extremely clever and enjoys showing-off her tricks for a tasty treat, and she certainly radiates sheer joy in everything that she does. Lacey is always ready for her next adventure and is sure to be a super companion. The key to Lacey's success in her home will very much depend on the area she lives in; Due to her worries around other dogs, Lacey MUST live somewhere with a very low dog population where she will not have to see or hear many at all.
A relatively active lifestyle will suit Lacey, and she should be given plenty of opportunities to challenge her brain. She has been living in one of our super foster homes where she has mastered her housetraining and has learned to settle well when left alone for around 4 hours at a time. Lacey's family would benefit from some level of breed experience and must be prepared to invest time into Lacey's ongoing training in a few areas. Lacey would like her own secure garden to explore safely, and will need to be free of any neighbouring dogs.
Lacey must have an adult-only home where she will be the only pet (she LOVES attention so being the center of her family's world will not be any hardship!). Lacey's home will need to be situated in a very quiet area as lots of activity, noises and other dogs overwhelm her to a point where she does not always know how best to cope. Lacey would like her family to meet her several times at the Centre before she heads home; for this reason we are looking to rehome her to a family who can express their ability to dedicate plenty of time and effort into helping their new addition settle into family life.
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continueour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd liketo help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
