Joey is a 4 year old JRT. Due to current restrictions, I can't go to my forever home just yet, but you can contact the rehoming centre to register your interest. When restrictions ease, and if we're a suitable match, you will be able to discuss me in more detail with my carers at the centre. Thank you so much for your interest in me! He is an energetic boy who has a cheeky character and is full of fun. He doesnt like strangers and can take time getting to know and trust people. Joey prefers a quiet environment and is looking for an adult only home where he will be the only pet in the house. He would like to live with a maximum of two adults in the home and someone who has few visitors.
Joey is looking for experienced owners have had Terriers before and can keep up with his energy levels. Joey needs his own garden where he can spend time off his lead playing with his toys or relaxing. Joey can be worried and uncomfortable with formal handling and does need time to build a bond in order to trust you. He is not a lap dog and does need his own space at home.
Joey is house trained and can be left on his own for a short period of time throughout the day. He loves to go in the car on new adventures where he can explore new sights and smells. He enjoys his home comforts and will snuggle up in his own bed after a long day of being out and about. Joey will need to meet his new owners several times to build a trusting relationship before going home. *PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT CURRENTLY REHOME TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF SCOTLAND DUE TO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS*
