To apply to rehome Jack, please click the 'Come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Jack is an adorable little button who really doesn't ask for much. All he wants is to go for quiet walks and find a patient new family who can allow him to settle into his new life before too much is expected of him. Jack is rather independent, but does not like being left totally on his own; Knowing that someone is near gives him great comfort when going about his own adventures. Although he can play a little hard-to-get on the first meet, Jack bonds to people who he knows and trusts and is always looking to make them smile with his cracking personality. The patience in the early days will undoubtedly be rewarded by the perfect little companion!
A medium level of physical exercise will be needed to keep Jack happy and healthy, and he will need a family who are willing to invest time into his training in a few areas; Handling, reacting to dogs and seperation anxiety are his main areas to work on. Jack is not housetrained but has lived in a home before. He really does not like being left on his own so this will need to be built-up gradually. It will be extremely important for Jack's body language to be read correctly by his new family, and he would benefit from having his own quiet zone to retreat to when he is seeking some time-out to himself.
Jack is seeking an adult-only home but could have calm, hands-off visitors to his home who are younger. He will not be able to share his home with a canine companion as he has been extremely picky with his four-legged neighbours here at the Centre, and had has negative experiences previous to arriving with us. Jack's home will need to be free of cats, but he will be able to live with small furry pets who are securely housed. Due to the current covid-19 restrictions, Jack is not able to go to his forever home just yet as he will require several meets with his new family. We can however continue to take new interest via the "come and meet me" button below. When restrictions ease, you will be able to discuss your rehoming application for this resident in more detail with a member of our team. Thank-you for your understanding and continued support!
