Champ is a 1 year old Staffie Cross. Unfortunately, he was born deaf, however he doesn't let this hold him back! He has been having lots of training sessions here at the centre and is learning lots of hand signals. Champ is a bouncy boy and full of life. He enjoys his walks, running about in off lead areas and cuddling in his kennel with his canine careers. He has enjoyed spending time with all the dogs and people has met here at the centre and just seems to enjoy every situation he's been in, even the vets!
Champ is a lovely fun young boy. He is looking for someone who is willing to guide him and teach him through his teenage years to encourage him to be a confident well-rounded dog. He is very smart and energetic; he is looking for someone to keep his mind and body engaged and work on his training that has started here at the centre. He will need to live with children aged 16 and above and owners who are willing to work with his deafness. His leaving hours will need to be gradually increased over time. Ideally, he will need a secure garden.
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continueour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd liketo help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
