Cashew

Jack Russell | 8 years old

Description

Likes

Cashew is a very cute little lad with typical terrier characteristics. He only likes to be a lap dog when it suits him so is looking for a hands off home that will respect his space and let him settle in his own time. As he is an older boy he is looking to put his paws up and relax but he isn't ready to retire just yet as he loves playing with toys.

Type of home needed

Cashew can live with children over the age of 16 years old as he does like his own space. He can walk with other dogs but prefers to be the only pet in the home. Cashew is partially housetrained and will need his new owners to help him work on this. Once Cashew is settled he can be left alone for part of the day and really enjoys his own company. Using positive reward based training is a must.

More about me

Cashew will need a garden, this will make housetraining easier and give him somewhere to potter around. This must be a private one to keep him safe. He would prefer a home with few stairs due to his age. Cashew is enjoying the home comforts of a foster home and is available to meet by appointment. He would like to meet his new owners a few times before going home. We are currently taking applications for Cashew until we find a suitable home for him. Only the successful applicant will be contacted. Due to current restrictions we are looking for a home within 30 minutes of the centre.
