PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS WITHIN A 1 HOUR DRIVE FROM OUR CENTRE (WR11 7RT). Benjie is a wonderfully lovely boy with heaps of personality. He has a heart of pure gold, is eager to please and really loves to play. Benjie will need a family who can see past his handsome looks and fully understand what he requires to be happy and healthy. A level of collie experience will be essential for his new family, as well as a keen interest in training. Kennel life is proving rather challenging for Benjie, and his behavioural quirks are something that his family will need to be able to fully understand and be prepared to work with. He may be a bit of a project, but with a knowledgable and loving family, Benjie is likely to do very well indeed.

Type of home needed

Benjie is seeking a very active new home where he will also be promised plenty of chances to use his brain. He loves showing-off how smart he is, and would like to request a varied supply of brain games and food puzzles to keep him occupied. Benjie has lived in a home before and has remained fully housetrained during his stay with us. He must have a very rurally-located home where he will not have to come across much traffic as he finds this really overwhelming when out and about. A quiet location will suit Benjie perfectly due to his noise sensitivity, which will include having a home away from busy public areas such as parks and schools. Benjie is a very active lad who is going to keep his new family on their toes; He will need his adopters to fully understand just how much time will have to be invested into him.

More about me

Benjie is seeking an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He may be able to go for walks with canine companions who could help build his confidence, but for now he will need to be able to call his home his very own. Benjie is not keen on being without human company and has previously shown this by getting into a pickle, even after a short period of time. It will be absolutely crucial for Benjie's family to be able to commit their time and patience into this area, and build Benjie's time left alone in a very gradual way. Car travel is something Benjie it yet to form a positive association to; He has a tendency to be unwell when travelling, and generally wishes to avoid all forms of transport as much as possible. Once he is fully happy and settled, work in this area will be beneficial, however Benjie will not be looking to have a life filled with adventures that require car travel!
